Aik Mohabbat Sou Afsanay by Ashfaq Ahmed

Ashfaq Ahmed (August 22, 1925 – September 7, 2004) was a distinguished writer, playwright, broadcaster, intellectual and spiritualist from Pakistan. His prime qualities of heart and hand earned appreciations across the borders. He was regarded by many as the best Urdu Afsana (short-story) writer after Saadat Hasan Manto, Ismat Chughtai and Krishan Chander following the publication of his famous short-story "Gaddarya" [The Shepherd] in 1955.

His collection of short stories “Aik Muhabbat So Afsaanay” has got a huge and great acclaim and acknowledgment from across the globe. The book comprises thirteen short stories which are quite interesting and fun to read kind of thing. It is very hard to leave the book till his last page.
Every short story of the book is written in a unique style which shows the greatness of Ashfaq Ahmed and his command on the language and its structures.
